SACS Reaffirmation Calendar Quality Enhancement Plan Compliance Certification Reaffirmation Process SACS Reference Section

A fundamental element of reaffirmation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) is that the institution submit a Compliance Certification document in September of 2005, attesting to the university's compliance with specific requirements. The Compliance Certification includes a signature page, documentation providing general information about the university, and documentation or evidence of compliance with requirements. This section details all elements and activities involved in preparing the Compliance Certification document, which is an integral part of the reaffirmation process. In this section:

General Information: Brief overview of Compliance Certification and the team responsible for preparing the document.

Responsibility matrix: spreadsheet that identifies the sign-off, write-up coordinator and team and liaisons for each Core Requirement and Comprehensive Standard.

Responsibility Assignment: Description of designated assignment levels and responsibilities for each Core Requirement and Comprehensive Standard.

Preparing Compliance Certification Document: Overview and guidelines for preparing the Compliance Certification document and instructions on developing and adding narrative and links to the supporting documentation on the reporting web site.
