UCF is currently involved in reviewing faculty qualifications, which is a major component of reaffirmation of accreditation by SACS. The purpose of the review is to accomplish the following:

• Ensure that the qualifications of all teaching faculty meet the minimum requirements defined by SACS and UCF
• Ensure that documentation of credentials confirming these qualifications is available, current, and secured
• Ensure that documentation of faculty credentials is retrievable upon request

Faculty Qualifications Workgroup: A workgroup has been formed to participate in this review and the purpose of the workgroup is presented.

Progress in Review: A description of the activities related to the review of faculty qualifications that are occurring and a synopsis of the progress of this effort is provided in this section.
