It is recommended that reviewers use Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0, Firefox 1.0.6, or an equivalent Web browser to view the Web site.

Supporting evidence is provided as PDF hyperlinks in each narrative and in the reference table below each narrative. To access PDF files, you will need to download the free Adobe Acrobat Reader software if not already installed. This software is available from Adobe's website at this address: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html.

Throughout the report, PDF documents are referenced with one or more of the following indicators: (PDF), [PDF], or the PDF Icon (). Live Web sites are indicated with the Live Web site icon ().

When you enter the Compliance Certification Reporting Web site, you will be on the Compliance Certification Report (CCR) Homepage. This page provides entry to the CCR as well as provides direct links to the following areas in the left sidebar area.

Returning to Homepage

To return to the UCF CCR Homepage, click the "Home" tab at the top of any screen, or click the "Compliance Certification Document Index" link at the bottom of any screen.

Navigating through the Report

There are three ways to navigate through the Compliance Certification Report.

1. Select the relevant tab from the top of the screen and select the specific report sections from the left sidebar (each report is numbered with titles)
2. Access one of the narratives and proceed forward or backward through the report in a linear fashion using the "Previous" and "Next" links at the top and bottom of each page in the report.
3. Use the Compliance Certification Document Index that lists all of the Core Requirements, Comprehensive Standards, and Federal Requirements by the sequential identifier. To open the report, click on the title of the item. The Compliance Certification Document Index can always be found at the bottom of every report.

Each report page starts with a restatement of the Core Requirement, Comprehensive Standard or Federal Requirement verbatim from the Principles of Accreditation. This statement is followed by UCF's determination of compliance indicated by a mark in the appropriate check box. The narrative description providing the evidence for compliance then follows.

Immediately below the narrative is a listing of the units that contributed to providing the evidence for the item. The list includes links to the unit Web pages. Below the list of contributing units is a table providing easy access to the supporting documentation that provides evidence of compliance.

When you are navigating through the CCR Web site, all clicks on a reference or an external site will open in a new browser window. The new window will remain open unless you close it. Clicking on another reference or external site will open another browser window.

The supporting documentation is referenced in two ways. First, each item of supporting documentation is provided a consecutive number in each report. When you click on a number in the text, a PDF file will open with the relevant portion of the support document displayed.

The second way to review the supporting documentation is by using the table of documentation at the end of the report page. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and the table lists each document and includes a link to the PDF file and to a Web site that is the original source for the information (when available.)

Printing Guidelines

To print any of the compliance certification narratives or the report in its entirety, click on the "Print" link in the upper left hand corner of the screen. If you are within the compliance certification report, you will be given the option of printing the current item or the entire report. If you are outside the report, you will be given the option of printing the entire report.

From the printable pages, click the "Print" (available in the individual narrative print view) or "Print Report" (available in the full report print view) link at the top of the page or use your browser's Print option to print out the material. You may also want to use the Print Preview feature of your Internet browser to determine the total number of pages that will be printed.
